Fred Gaiser pitched one game for the 1908 St. Louis Cardinals and won 20 games for Holyoke in 1910. He died of influenza in 1918.

The New York Times of February 6, 1913 stated that Gaiser had been purchased from Wilkes-Barre the previous year by the New York Highlanders, and that the team had now sold him to Albany. Gaiser went on to play for Albany in 1913-15.
