[edit] Biographical Information

Frank Radler played and managed in the minors from 1937 to 1952. A pitcher, he began his pro career in the St. Louis Browns system. He later moved on to the St. Louis Cardinals organization and spent his only season in the high minors with the Rochester Red Wings in 1945, going 6-23 with a 4.91 ERA. He pitched for and managed the Stroudsburg Poconos from 1948 to 1950. On the mound, he led the North Atlantic League in wins (20) and ERA (2.18) in 1948, ERA (1.59) in 1949, and wins (21) and ERA (1.81) in 1950. Overall, he went 53-13 over those three seasons. As skipper, he led the team to a league championship in 1949. Radler managed the DeLand Red Hats in 1951 and the Union City Greyhounds in 1952.
