Menechino hit .274/.372/.411 in 18 games for Danesi Nettuno in Serie A1 in 2008 but herniated disc problems ended his career in May; Luis Ugueto replaced him. Menechino was hitting coach of the Trenton Thunder in 2009-2010. In 2011 he became a coach for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees.
