[edit] Biographical Information

Brother of Heinie Manush, Frank Manush was 18 years older than his brother and made his major league debut with the Philadelphia Athletics in 1908 when Heinie was seven years old.

Frank was a third baseman, given a chance because regular Jimmy Collins was in his last major league season. The A's ended up going with a 23-year-old named Frank Baker at third base the next season.

Frank Manush was with the Toledo Mud Hens in 1912. His minor league career went from 1907 to 1921 and he also managed six years in the minors.

He also managed the Durham Bulls in the North Carolina State League in 1917. The league folded May 30th.

One source says that there were seven Manush brothers, and all played professional baseball.
