[edit] Biographical Information

Frank Eufemia had only one season in the majors, but he was pretty busy that year, pitching in 39 games and finishing 21. He had a record of 4-2 with 2 saves and an ERA of 3.79 in a year when the American League overall ERA was 4.15. The biggest name on the Minnesota Twins was Kirby Puckett, who had his lowest major league batting average, .288, that year. Frank assumed his professional baseball career was over in 1991 after being released by the New York Mets during spring training. However, he was resigned by the Mets when their AAA affiliate the Tidewater Tides had its pitching staff depleted because of injuries and callups in late 1992. He had been playing in an amateur league in New Jersey.

He currently coaches at Don Bosco Prep High School.

  • He pitched at Visalia at one point when in the minors.
