Frank Cross is notable for having played one game in the major leagues, hitting .600. He went 3-for-5 for the 1901 Cleveland Blues, in the first major-league season of the American League. An outfielder, he did not have a chance in the field.
Cross was the brother of two other major leaguers, Lave Cross and Amos Cross; his oldest brother, Joe, was also a baseball player. Amos had played in 1885-1887 and died in 1888, while Frank didn't come to the majors till 1901.
