Francisco Rodriguez Murillo

Francisco Rodriguez is a pitcher in the Los Angeles Angels chain. In 2005, he was 4-4 with a 5.61 ERA for the Puebla Parrots. He signed with the Angels that off-season. In 2006, he went 5-13 with a 5.47 ERA and .300 opponent average for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. He tied for the California League lead in losses. He returned to Rancko Cucamonga in 2007 and was 4-8 with 2 saves and a 5.96 ERA, walking 53 and allowing 117 hits in 105 2/3 IP. He had a 6.75 ERA in the 2008 Caribbean Series for the Yaquis de Obregon and saved the win over the Tigres de Aragua. Francisco went 5-5 with 2 saves and a 3.82 ERA for the 2008 Arkansas Travelers, pitching in 50 games. In the winter, he was 3-2 with a 2.56 ERA in 30 games for the Caneros de los Mochis. He then joined the Mexican team for the 2009 World Baseball Classic, allowing two runs in two innings. Rodriguez allowed three inherited runners to score, on a triple to Yoennis Céspedes and home run by Ben Risinger.
