Florida Rookie League

The Florida Rookie League was the second name for what is now known as the Gulf Coast League. The league began as the Sarasota Rookie League in 1964. The league changed names to the Florida Rookie League in 1965, and Gulf Coast League in 1966. All games were played at Sarasota, FL and Bradenton, FL.
