Outfielder Flavien Peron has played for the Rouen Huskies in Division Elite. In 2007, he hit .283/.354/.339 as the main left fielder for the French champions. The next year, the Rouen flyhawk hit .230/.340/.252 as the lightest threat on a Rouen club that repeated as Division Elite champs. He did field perfectly, though, while manning all 3 outfield slots (mostly left). He was the top Rouen batter in the 2008 European Cup in Grosseto, batting .412/.444/.529 with 4 RBI in five games; oddly, as his bat woke up, his glove faded as he made an error. Peron tied for 9th in the Cup in average and tied for 8th in RBI.
