Halfway through the 1912 Ohio-Pennsylvania League season, the first-place Salem Quakers moved to Fairmont, WV and became the Fairmont Fairies. They went just 15-16 in Fairmont and the team folded on July 16 - the league itself did not last much longer, ending less than a month afterwards.
