Evelyn Wawryshyn played six seasons in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, primarily at second base. With the Fort Wayne Daisies, she was an All-Star in 1950. Overall, she hit .266 in 544 games over her career.
In the offseason, Wawryshyn was a teacher, so she missed spring training.
