1B/P Ernie Wingard played minor league ball after his major league career from 1928 to 1941. He collected 1,624 hits, 286 2B, and 147 HR to go with his .326 average. He also was 67-58 with a 3.81 ERA in 176 minor league pitchg appearances. He led the 1939 Alabama-Florida League with 180 hits and 137 RBI and led the 1928 American Association with 24 wins.
