Ernie Shore Field

Ernie Shore Field in Winston-Salem, North Carolina is currently home to the Winston-Salem Warthogs of the Carolina League. Named after former big league pitcher Ernie Shore, the park was built in 1956 and seats 6000 fans. There are currently plans being negotiated to sell the park to Wake Forest University for $5.5 million and build a new park for the Warthogs.
