Pitcher Erik Goeddel was selected by the New York Mets in the 24th round of the 2010 amateur draft and made his pro debut that summer with the GCL Mets. His brother, Tyler Goeddel, was selected by the Tampa Bay Rays in the first round of the following year's draft.
