[edit] Biographical Information
While a minor leaguer in the Yankee's system, Eric Milton got a tattoo of the New York Yankees logo on his pitching shoulder. He never got into a game with the Yankees, after being traded with three other players (including Cristian Guzman) to the Minnesota Twins for Chuck Knoblauch.
Milton then got a tattoo of the Twins logo on his other shoulder. He has also pitched for the Philadelphia Phillies and for the Cincinnati Reds but it is not known whether he increased his tattoo collection accordingly.
He pitched a no-hitter against the Anaheim Angels on September 11, 1999. The game was scheduled at an unusually early hour of the day, following a night game, to give the ground grew time to prepare the stadium for a college football game later that day. As a result, the Angels fielded a line-up of substitutes that was little better than an average AAA team.
