[edit] Biographical Information
During the month of July, 2003, playing for the Texas Rangers, Einar Díaz hit .313 with 10 RBI. Diaz was one of the oldest players in the low minors to begin 2007, as the 34-year-old was catching for the A-class Lynchburg Hillcats. He began the year 2 for 23.
In 2009 he was appointed manager of the Bluefield Orioles in the Appalachian League. In 2011 Díaz became a coach for the Bowie BaySox and in 2012 was with the Delmarva Shorebirds. His brother Lino Díaz has also coached and managed in the minors.
