Infielder Edgar Tovar played 13 seasons in the minor leagues. He spent his first four years in the Montreal Expos, briefly reaching the AAA level. He then spent 9 seasons in independent leagues. Since 2007, he has been bullpen catcher for the Chicago Cubs.
