Eddy Diaz was named Mexican League Manager of the Year for his work with the 2010 Oaxaca Guerreros. He then was hired as a scout by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. He followed by leading the Yaquis de Obregón to the 2010-2011 Mexican Pacific League title and victory in the 2011 Caribbean Series. He guided the Yaquis to the 2011-2012 LMP title as well.
