Pitcher Eddie Erautt debuted in the minors in 1942. He missed the 1944-1945 seasons due to military service, before returning to the Pacific Coast League in 1946. He made his major league debut with the Cincinnati Reds in 1947.
- Eddie had a long minor league career, and enjoyed some successful years.
- Formed a "brother battery" as the brother of catcher Joe Erautt. Joe was born in Canada while Eddie was born in Portland.
