Ed Rapuano

Edward Stephen Rapuano Jr.

Ed Rapuano has been a major league umpire for over 15 years. He began his career in the New York-Penn League in 1985 and moved up to the Florida State League (1986-1987), Southern League (1988) and Triple-A Alliance (1989) before making it to the majors in 1991. He has worked the 1995 All-Star Game, 2001 World Series, 2003 World Series and 2008 All-Star Game and will work the 2009 World Baseball Classic. He also has conducted baseball clinics in Italy.
