Ed Householder played part of the 1903 season for the 1903 Brooklyn Superbas. He was 33 at the time.
In 1900 he had played for Rochester and was among the league's RBI leaders. One source says his pro career was from 1900-11 and that he played in 1904 for the St. Paul Saints. He died of stomach cancer. Source: Saints history
He is one of four major leaguers (through 2008) with the last name "Householder".
