[edit] Biographical Information
Ed Foster, who came to the majors in 1908, played in the minors from 1906-23. He went 20-11 for New Haven in 1910. Later in his career, he spent five years with St. Paul.
His stint in the majors went well. He had a record of 1-0 with 2 saves and an ERA of 2.14. The team ERA, however, was 2.02 as teammate Addie Joss posted a 1.16 ERA that year.
