[edit] Biographical Information
Ed Cihocki was up for one game with the Philadelphia Athletics in 1932 and 33 games with them in 1933. The A's had just come off winning the pennant three straight years from 1929 to 1931 and were still above average in 1932 and 1933, before dipping under .500 for more than a decade after that.
A shortstop, Cihocki backed up Dib Williams on the 1933 team.
Ed also played for Harrisburg, Syracuse, Albany, and Birmingham as well as three seasons with Los Angeles in the minor leagues.
