 Biographical Information
On August 11, 1907, Ed Karger pitched a perfect game through 7 innings. The game was ended due to a prior mutual agreement. It was the second game of a doubleheader, and the rules of the time permitted the teams to decide on a seven-inning game in that circumstance. It is the only major league abridged perfect game or no-hitter that was not abridged by weather or darkness.
