[edit] Biographical Information

Dutch Stryker had a habit of disappearing. Originally signed by the New York Giants in 1916, he was back for spring training in 1920, but the Giants sent him to Toledo instead. The demotion didn't sit well with Stryker so he jumped the team. He bounced around the minors until 1924, when he got a shot at the big time with the Boston Braves. After 20 games, he was demoted to Springfield and jumped that team. By 1931, he was out of baseball completely and working as a pari-mutual clerk in a New Jersey racetrack.
