Doug Frobel was originally signed by the Pittsburgh Pirates as a non-drafted free agent out of Merivale High School in Ottawa, ON. He currently works as a scout for the Pittsburgh Pirates part time.
He pinch ran for Willie Stargell in his last major league game on October 3rd, 1982.
