The Hawaiian-born Doug Capilla pitched for the St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds, and Chicago Cubs during the 1970's and 1980's. He compiled a record of 12-18.
In 1989, Capilla played for the West Palm Beach Tropics and Bradenton Explorers of the Senior Professional Baseball Association.
