[edit] Biographical Information
Dorsey Riddlemoser pitched one game for the 1899 Washington Senators, giving up four earned runs in two innings. Later that same year, Shady Bill Leith also pitched one game for the 1899 Washington Senators, giving up four earned runs in two innings. Not a single pitcher on the team had a winning record, but Riddlemoser and Leith had the highest ERA's.
However, both Riddlemoser and Leith are redeemed by their wonderful names.
One other major league player has the first name "Dorsey" and the middle name "Lee". That player is Dorsey Lee Carroll, known as Dixie Carroll.
