Dorothy Harrell played in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League for nine seasons from 1944 to 1952 as the starting shortstop for the Rockford Peaches. She was an All-Star in 1947 and hit .251 with 58 RBIs the next year. Overall, she hit .228 with 306 RBIs in 799 games.
