The granddaughter of Chicago White Sox founder Charles Comiskey, Dorothy Comiskey served as a secretary for her father J. Louis Comiskey when he owned the club in the 1930s. Following his death, ownership passed to his wife Grace, and Dorothy remained with the team, holding various positions.
