A formerly thriving steel town in the Mon Valley of southwestern Pennsylvania, Donora has produced a trio of outfielders that could likely top any other town the same size - Stan Musial, Ken Griffey Jr. and Ken Griffey Sr.. The town is also famous for a horrible air pollution incident, which was discussed in "When Smoke Ran Like Water" by Donora native Devra Davis.
