Donny Lucy, who made his major league debut in 2007, is a catcher in the Chicago White Sox organization currently playing for the Charlotte Knights (as of April 25, 2008). He was selected in the second round of the 2004 amateur draft and made his major league debut in September of 2007. Lucy hit .313 and knocked in 47 runs in his final season at Stanford University; he was named a Pac-10 Conference all-star. He hit .257, with 15 home runs, 113 RBI's, and 45 steals in 325 minor league games between 2004 and 2007.

On September 5th, 2007, Lucy scored a hit in the second at-bat of his first major league game. After striking out against Kenny Rogers in his first plate appearance of the night, Lucy pulled a Rogers offering to left field for a single in the fifth inning.
