The brother of Joe Nuxhall, Don Nuxhall played two years in the minors. In limited action for the 1956 Topeka Hawks, he was 0-1 in six games, batting 0 for 3. For the 1957 Lawton Braves, he went 4-8 with a 3.91 ERA and did not hit a single batsman in 99 innings of work. He might have been better as a batter - on a team that hit .237, Don batted .290/.319/.391 with 11 runs and 11 RBI in 69 at-bats.
