Dino Restelli made major waves in 1949 by hitting eight home runs in his first ten major league games. After his playing career, he was briefly a San Francisco policeman.
Restelli was in the minors from 1944 to 1955, missing 1945 for military service. He appeared in the Pacific Coast League for parts of 11 seasons, hitting around .350 in several different seasons.
