[edit] Biographical Information

Pitcher Dick Scott was a part of the 1963 World Series champion 1963 Dodgers, appearing in nine games with them. He also pitched for the 1964 Cubs.

He did not appear in the 1963 World Series.

With the Dodgers, he was the same age as Johnny Podres. With the Cubs, he was two years younger than Ernie Banks.

Most of his minor league career from 1956-64 was in the Dodgers organization. At Spokane in 1958 he was a teammate of Maury Wills, Jim Gentile, Larry Sherry and Norm Sherry along with other future major leaguers.

He is not to be confused with (Amos) Dick Scott and (Richard Edward) Dick Scott.
