Dick Enberg

After graduating from Central Michigan University and earning his master's and doctorate at Indiana University, Dick Enberg was an assistant baseball coach and assistant professor at San Fernando Valley State College from 1961 to 1965. He was a broadcaster for the California Angels from 1969 to 1981 and called the 1982 World Series for NBC. Since 2010, he has been a television broadcaster for the San Diego Padres.

Away from the diamond, Enberg worked for NBC for 25 years and has been with CBS since 2000. Over the years, he has broadcast NFL and college football, NBA and college basketball, pro tennis, golf, and the Olympics.
