Dick Colpaert was signed by the Baltimore Orioles in 1961 and was owned by six organizations through 1974, but only came to the majors once, in 1970. Appearing in 8 games for the 1970 Pittsburgh Pirates, he went 1-0. The team was a division-winner that year. Colpaert was 26, the same age as catcher Manny Sanguillen.
