Dick Burwell started one game in his short major league career. It was on September 13, 1960 against the Cincinnati Reds. He went 5 innings, gave up 6 hits, 6 runs, walked 3 and had no strikeouts. He left the game tied, 6-6. Don Elston ended up getting the loss, as the Cubs lost to the Reds, 8-6.
