Dick Berardino was a minor league outfielder who became a minor league manager in 1966. He managed in the New York Yankees chain in 1966-1967 and the Boston Red Sox chain for 20 years between 1971 and 1998. Berardino also spent three seasons as a Boston Red Sox coach from 1989-1991. Overall his teams were a combined 753-858 in 22 years. As of 2008, Berardino is still employed by the Red Sox as a "Player Development Consultant".
