Dewey Steven Griggs

Died February 18, 1968 in Homer, NY USA

Dewey Griggs was a scout for the Boston Braves (1947-1952), Milwaukee Braves 1953-1959), and Philadelphia Phillies (1960-1966). Griggs signed Hank Aaron in 1952, and also discovered and/or signed players such as Bob Trowbridge, Johnny Logan, Steve Kuczek, and Wes Covington.
