Dennis Myers was a 3B/OF/1B in his first minor league season (1969), but was a pitcher from 1970 on. He was listed on the Oakland A's 1972 spring roster, but never made the majors. After the 1974 season he was traded with Dan Ford to the Minnesota Twins for Pat Bourque.
