Dennis Konuszewski pitched only 1/3 inning in the major leagues, but had a 6 year minor league career, pitching pretty well.

He played for the University of Michigan from 1990-92, and was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 7th round of the 1992 draft. In 1992, he started with the Welland Pirates of the NYPL, posting an ERA of 1.29 in 2 games, and then moved to the Augusta Pirates of the SAL, where his ERA was 2.31 in 17 games. He gradually moved from starter to reliever as he moved up the ladder in the minors. In 1993, his ERA dipped to 4.62 with the Salem Buccaneers of the Carolina League, but in 1994 he came back with a 3.59 ERA in the Southern League with the Carolina Mudcats, where he also spent 1995, with an ERA of 3.65, almost the same as the previous year. He came up to the Pirates for one game in August of 1995.

He was with the Mudcats and the Calgary Cannons in 1996, and came back to the Mudcats in 1997, pitching in 15 games with an ERA of 4.43.
