Outfielder Dennis Hood was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 12th round of the 1984 amateur draft.
Hood was the third in the North Central League in batting in 1994 for the Regina Cyclones and was the Texas-Louisiana League Player of the Year in 1995 for the Amarillo Dillas.
