Delong Jia is an infielder who has played in the Olympics. Jia was 0 for 6 with 2 walks for the Chinese national team in the 2007 Arizona Fall League In the 2008 Olympics, he was 2 for 7 with a triple, serving as the backup to Wei Sun at third base and also appearing in one inning at shortstop. He scored China's lone run in their loss to Cuba. Jia was on the Chinese roster for the 2009 World Baseball Classic. He struggled in the Classic, going 0 for 7 with four strikeouts as China's starting SS.
