Pitcher Dejan Marin was with the Croatian national team in the 2007 European Championship, striking out five in 3 innings but giving up four runs. In the 2008 European Championship Qualifiers, he surrendered six runs and seven hits in 4 1/3 innings but Croatia still won a spot in the 2010 European Championship.
