Dave Gray is the only major leaguer to come from Weber State University, where he was at in 1962-63. At age 21, in 1964, he played for the 1964 Red Sox. He had been signed in 1962.
With the Red Sox, he was three years younger than teammate Carl Yastrzemski and two years older than teammate Tony Conigliaro.
