Dave Gerard pitched in 39 games for the 1962 Cubs.
Beginning in pro ball in 1955, he went 18-9 in 1956 for Lafayette and 12-9 in 1958 for Ft. Worth. In 1961 he was 11-9 for the minor league Houston club. He finished up in the PCL in 1964.
On the Cubs, he was five years older than Ken Hubbs and six years younger than Ernie Banks.
