Dave Concepcion, Jr. is the son of Dave Concepcion. Unlike other juniors from the Big Red Machine - Pete Rose Jr., Ken Griffey Jr. and Pedro Borbon Jr. - Dave Jr. did not make the majors. He hit .236/.368/.394 for the 1995 Princeton Reds with 10 steals in 10 tries, 42 walks and 44 runs in 60 games.

Concepcion split 1996 between Princeton (4 for 16, 2 BB, 2B) and the Charleston Alley Cats (.198/.268/.241 in 40 G), ending his career.
