Dave Campbell pitched in the majors for the Atlanta Braves. He is not to be confused with the other Dave Campbell, who also spent most of his major league playing career in the National League.
Campbell was born in Princeton, IN, also the birthplace of Gil Hodges.
With the Braves, Campbell was a year younger than teammates Jeff Burroughs and Gary Matthews.
