Darrell Rasner's cousin, Jacob Rasner, has played professionally since 2005. Darrell signed with the Rakuten Golden Eagles for 2009. He was their #3 starter, getting his debut on April 5. It was an unpleasant experience as he allowed 8 hits and 6 runs in 3 1/3 IP before getting yanked.
